Rose Hill Psychological Services

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have to cancel an appointment?
We have a 72 hour cancelation policy. That means that you are free to cancel or reschedule your appointments as long as you give us at least a three day heads up. If for any reason you have to cancel or miss an appointment without giving us notice at least 72 hours beforehand, you will be financially responsible for the fee.
What are your hours of operation?
Although we generally open early and stay open well into the evening at all locations, let us know your schedule when you call and we will try to find an appointment time that works for you. We understand that people have busy lives and we try to make sure that getting to a therapy appointment doesn’t make your life more stressful and, as pleasant as our waiting rooms are, we don’t keep you waiting there. We strive to see you at the exact time you are scheduled.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept credit card, cash and personal checks. Copays and coinsurances are due at the time of your appointment.
How do I get to you?
Our Manhattan location is at 330 West 58th Street, just off the Columbus Circle roundabout. The A, C, B and D trains to 59th Street-Columbus Circle Station will get you there.

In the Bronx, we are at 696 East 187th Street, at the corner of Beaumont. The entrance is actually on Beaumont. Metro North and the D train are close by and there is bus service on Crotona Ave and Fordham Road. Metered parking on the street is generally reasonably easy to find.
Can you help even if I don’t know exactly what’s wrong? I just know that I don’t feel like myself.
We will do our best to help you figure out what is bothering you and to put you on a path toward feeling better. Remember, we have decades of experience working with people who have many different issues, so even though you are an individual and your problems are yours and yours alone, we have probably already helped someone who presented with similar kinds of concerns.
Can I afford your services?
Let us know what you can afford and we will try to help you decide if we can make it work for you. We offer reduced fees depending on our patients' circumstances. Also remember, we take a number of major insurances that can help you afford the services. Let us know what insurance you have and we will tell you if we take it.
Can you help me with my problems?
Give us a call and we will do our best to let you know if we are the right place for you. Sometimes we can’t learn everything we might need to know to answer this question over the phone. If so, we will set up an appointment for you to come in so that we can figure out if we might be able to help you. If for some reason we are not the right place, we will do our best to suggest what might be.
